Blast and Drat
Jul. 29th, 2009 10:58 pmBeen working on the next chapter of Promises all day and I still have 5 pages of editing to do. Arrgggh.
Will go to bed and do the last bit in the morning, otherwise I'm sure some really odd spelling will turn up in inappropriate places. Considering that bit is a Victor/Logan smut scene, that's probably best avoided otherwise people are definitely going to be subjected to some incredibly disturbing images.
On the plus side, the plane I'm using as a basis for Gambit's one is genuinely called a Beaver. Oh, the amusement!
Speaking of random amusement, another mod on Howrse has directed me to a LJ comm called "weepingcock" which exists purely to nick those comments from bad or interestingly phrased sex scenes for reading amusement. Their interest list includes the following phrases which I really, *really* want to involve somewhere in a fic:
