Utterly confused

Okay, what the [insert random rude thing] is going on in (I assume) the Viggorli fanbase? I'm seeing more and more LJs close down or have other major effects as a result of whatever it is that happened, but whenever I ask anyone what said shit is I never get answers and simply a "I don't want to get involved" type response and I don't want to have to clog up someone else's LJ post with the "what have I missed" episode catchup post.

I would be grateful if anyone could actually clear this one up for me before I go nuts - I don't want to have to join random viggorli groups just to get whatever politics is occurring.

This post hasn't been friend locked for the possibility of an answer from someone who might like to take a stand, even if it is in the commentary box side of things.
